This
is a very finely
executed original pochoir from “Les Costumes Parisiens” of 1913 – a highly
respected limited edition fashion magazine with each issue containing a loosely
inserted fashion plate. Each one was printed on high quality art paper. This
one exudes style and elegance. Size of

green lacquered frame of around 1910 with stylized flower surround and with the
benefit of ripple-glass.
A lady
dressed in a wide robe furtively descends the staircase – note the reflections
of the moon and stars shimmering in the half-open door. This pochoir was
published in the Gazette du Bon Ton as plate no. 10, issue no. 1, 1912/13 and

gracious pochoir was presented by “Comedia Illustré offering the best wishes
for 1912. Signed in the print “A.E. MARTY , Déc. 1911”. Iit is a masterly
