If you are an admirer of original Art Deco and Art Nouveau images by eminent artists such as George Barbier and Edouard Chimot, among many others, then this website is for YOU!

Emil Baschnonga, during his many travels throughout Europe has built up a large and eclectic collection of authentic lithographs, pochoirs and etchings, by a wide range of artists. Emil is an enthusiast, and the collection has been lovingly assembled, not as a commercial enterprise, but purely for the sake of art itself.

A selection of these works is now being offered for sale.

We shall be adding new pictures - framed and unframed posters AND illustrated books as well throughout 2008.

25 new additions across the galleries include 2 George Barbier, a unique “gouache” (aquarelle) by D’Esseltine after a poem by Ronsard, 2 pochoirs by Adrien Etienne Drian (who can be compared to Jean-Gabriel Domergue), 2 charming pochoirs by George Lepape, a rare pochoir by J. Kuhn-Régnier, 3 designs by Mariette Lydis (1 pochoir and 2 etchings done by herself).

  • As always special care has been taken to offer the pictures  in original frames of the period. These are nowadays quite difficult to come by!
